The ATS Stage 1 7X transmission build is designed for enthusiasts pushing the limits of the ZF8HP platform while maintaining reliability for high horsepower street, drag racing, and performance applications. Built for the 8HP70, 8HP75, and 8HP76, this package supports applications up to 1200 wheel horsepower and 1000 wheel torque.

This service is a build-your-core package, meaning you will send your transmission to Applied Torque Solutions for the build process. A pre-built transmission core is not included with this purchase.

Need a built core instead?

This is a build service — you send us your transmission and we build it. 

If you can't have your car down that long, we keep pre-built cores available so you get a ready-to-install unit and send yours back afterward.

How the Process Works

After placing your order:

1. Remove your transmission from the vehicle
2. Securely strap it to a pallet and prepare it for pickup
3. ATS coordinates round-trip FedEx Freight shipping to our facility
4. Transmission is professionally rebuilt and upgraded
5. Completed unit is shipped back to you ready for installation

Typical turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks including shipping, though lead times may vary depending on workload and parts availability.
