Pressurized fluid feeds directly through this tube, and since the factory crossover tube is plastic, it can weaken and fail over time from heat and age. The ATS 6061 aluminum version eliminates that issue while also improving the O-ring sealing surface, ensuring a secure fit and preventing any unnecessary pressure loss.
